Recently, I have been on a cleaning-out/organizing kick around here. I finally got to my pantry which was really in need of some purging...it always feels good to get rid of stuff you aren't using and don't need!
During my clean out, I kept thinking how nice it would be to have a nice set of cannisters for things like pasta, rice, and various snacks.
A few weeks later during a trip to my mother-in-laws, she gave me a very special gift, which most people would find rather odd, but I loved them! A set of empty plastic nut cannisters...perfect for my pantry!
I know this probably sounds strange to most of you...but I was so excited!! (She knows how much I love things like that). Thanks again Grandma Gwen=)
So I took them home, removed the labels, cleaned them up a bit and added some mini "chalkboard labels"...
They turned out so cute! I love them.
My trick for these "chalkboard labels" is simply black cardstock and a white paint pen...same look, less fuss.
I love how nice they look in my pantry...
(ok, I admit it, I am a total nerd...I mean who DOES this?? This is the kind of project that my husband would call a colossal waste of time!)
Oh well, it makes me HAPPY!!
